Hello there

I own a Technics SX-PX662 digital piano. It's about a year old. About two
months ago I started noticing a hissing sound on the main speakers. It is
not present when I used the headphones.

I've had it in for repairs, it came back yesterday, but it still makes this
sound. You can even hear it while playing. I am very disappointed.

I was just wondering if anybody else have had a similar problem with a
digital piano they own. I will contact the dealer again, but since he took a
month to 'repair' the problem, I don't have a lot of faith in him. Looks
like I bought a lemon.

Is the outlet you plug it in to grounded properly?

I have this problem, and on a Steinway "B". Often, after I finish
playing, I hear a hissing sound from the audience.

Hi Rich

I have had the piano at the shop, and when they plug it in there, the
hissing sound is nearly imperceptable. I think there is something wrong with
the outlet I am plugging it into.

Will check the grounding. Is that the only thing that could be causing this
?
