If you, like many people, have anxiety all the time, there are great
solutions that provide relief. And, best of all, these solutions don't
cost a fortune! Even better yet, these solutions are drug free, so
there's no side effect (which can sometimes be worse then the anxiety
itself!)
1. Spend more time with your family and friends (the ones that don't
trigger your anxiety!). Yes, spending time with people that make us
feel safe is so key to relieving your anxiety. Talk to these
individuals about your anxiety if you feel it's appropriate.
2. Make sure you plan some time to do something you like. Something
that makes you feel good. If you want to learn piano or build a model,
do a puzzle, start scrapbooking - these hobbies are meditative and you
find that you lose yourself in them. This is so important in life - to
create and to learn at the same time. This will help take your mind
off of things.
3. Figure out what it is that is making you feel anxiety all the time!
Write down people or things or your job or maybe finances...things in
your life that are causing you to feel anxiety or panic. And then
write down solutions for each. Maybe you need to have a conversation
with someone, or limit your time with them, or stop spending money
where you know you shouldn't, etc. etc......
