Can anyone help please.

My friend spilled a pint of beer on his Winchester stp-710 Electronic Piano,
when he came home drunk.

The Piano is still working, with the exception of five keys.

All the electronics seem ok, but I think something must have become sticky
underneath the five keys.

I had a look for him, and there's around ten screws underneath to remove,
and it looks like the keyboard
liffts out of the unit, but I think other parts on the top need removing
first.

Does anyone know the procedure for removing the keys on an Electronic Piano
like this, or know of any websites
with diagrams.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

John

John, this is a delicate thing. When I had to deal with liquid being
spilled on a Kurzweil keyboard, it was necessary to replace the key
contact assembly, the liquid had done irrepairable damage. Shouldn't
be any really big deal to get at it, though, and you can try cleaning
the contacts to see if the notes will come back. Good luck...
